Next week, I’m heading to Boston for a quick work trip—just one night, so I want to make it count. I’ve got two hotel options: The Dagny or the Omni Parker. There’s also the Langham, but honestly, it’s $200 more, and I’d feel a bit guilty splurging on my very first work trip.
Here’s the thing: after a long day of meetings, I really want to soak up some of Boston’s history and maybe catch a beautiful view. I’m picturing a stroll through some old streets, maybe a quick stop at a landmark, and then treating myself to a great dinner and a cozy bar. But I keep wondering—are these hotels actually close to the good stuff, or am I going to end up walking forever just to find a decent meal?
It’s always a toss-up with these work trips: do you pick the hotel with the better reputation, or the one that’s closer to the action?
