No longer exist are the days one can find a family lease where you can grow the next generation of hunters. Deer lease are so overpriced, unless you have a lot of residual income to burn, taken your children, and have to pay full price for them is not in the cards. Unless you have family hunting land of your own, hunt numbers of hunters are on the decline. This is self-inflicted by Game Ranches beening all about profits. I can see their motivation to be so, buy will definitely have it long term consequences. Fewer and fewer younger Americans are part of the Hunting population. My grown kids rarely find those opportunities on a year to year bases. We have turned to public hunts, but we will probably get drawn 1 out of every 3 years. It's hard to justify the cost of the harvesting game over spending lesser money at the grocery store. At some point, the numbers will not be there to provide the funds from hunting licenses to offset deer hunting conservation programs.
