what’s this black dot on my cat’s nose? should i worry?

I had a cat that had those under his chin. Took him to the vet to be checked. Turned out to be feline acne. Had to use acne cleansing on him and it went away. I had never heard of feline acne.

It is called lentigo or cat freckles. Very common to ginger cats. They are often around the mouth and ears also

Can be nothing more serious than a freckle, can be completely the other extreme and be cancer. If it's new, always best to ask your vet and keep close monitoring of it.

My cat Sammie had those. The vet tried to treat her for a fungal infection. Turns out, it was cancer. cancer ate her whole face by the time we put her down.

Well everyone has a different theory so just go see your vet and find out. Better to be safe than sorry.
