This generation of grandparents sucks

I’ve been struggling with something that just doesn’t sit right with me.Growing up, I watched grandparents dive in and help raise their grandkids. It wasn’t even a question—they were just there whenever they could be. But somehow, things have changed. Now, many grandparents say they “owe nothing” to the next generation.It’s confusing. Generation A helped Generation B with their grandkids. But now Generation B has become grandparents, and they tell Generation C that we're on our own. Even if they’re healthy, retired, and have the time, helping is treated like a favor instead of a given.When did this cultural shift happen?
