how come a person getting disability gets more than a retired person's SS? I know a lot of people getting disability checks when there is nothing wrong with them and they could work!

I people on SSI once again won't get nothing 😭 It so hard trying to live on what they allow. Can't see why a person wouldn't want to work if they could. So much more money to live on compared to $976.00 a month 😭😔😭😔😭🙏🙏🙏

there is an agenda. it disqualifies you for housing snap and medical. it's hell to have to get to a store I can't breathe COPD, my heart is bad everyday is a blessing. there are some that need cut off. they lied on their applications . I tried my best to keep working. I miss it . I'm lonely and taking it day by day

Try living off of $176 a month ! I did for 2 years on ssi don't ask me how I did it cause I don't know myself. it had to be with God's help !

I get $1175 and my rent is $1k ( all utilities and wifi included ) I don't own a car. I'm grateful and I make it work to avoid roommates. 🙏💕

I’m on Ssdi and I only get the cola raises but then they take out for Medicare. I don’t qualify for Medicaid but need a caregiver. I would love the raise and Medicaid should be for people with disabilities regardless of income. I have to rely on food banks after I pay rent and bills.

I am living with Crohn’s disease for 31 years it’s hard at times I still do a lot when my days are good I trust in faith with god he surely has gotten me through some of the worse flare ups and bowel resection I am also 3 time cancer survivor had it twice in my kidney had to have left kidney removed
