My First Time Trying Handmade Pasta !

Took a leap and decided to make pasta from scratch. Flour everywhere, dough sticking to the counter, but the process felt almost meditative. Measuring out the ingredients, kneading until the texture was just right, and rolling it thin enough took more patience than expected. The transformation from a simple mix of eggs and flour into silky ribbons was something I hadn’t experienced before. Cooking the pasta only took a couple of minutes, and the difference compared to boxed pasta was clear. The bite, the texture, and how it held the sauce—there’s a reason people say fresh is best. It’s not the easiest thing to pull off on a busy weeknight, but for anyone who wants to see what goes into their food, it’s worth a try.
