V-E Day Turns 80: Bittersweet Cheers

Did you know it’s been 80 years since V-E Day? Countries everywhere are marking the end of WWII in Europe, but it’s not all confetti—WWII historian (and retired Major General) Michael Dunlavey calls it ‘bittersweet’ because of all the destruction that came with victory.
