Why So Many Houses, But No One's Buying?

So, there are finally more houses popping up for sale than we've seen in years, and mortgage rates are holding steady—sounds like good news, right? But most people still feel like home ownership is out of reach, mainly because the economy feels shaky and prices are still high. Even with more choices, folks are worried about their wallets, so the dream home hunt is on pause for many. If you’re thinking of buying, now’s the time to window shop and see if deals pop up! #HousingMarket #MoneyTalk #HomeBuying #RealEstate #LifeHacks

The price! The overpriced houses aren't being bought anymore. We are actually waiting in the crash, that's when we buy properties and land. If you look on Zillow or similar site, the houses are overpriced by 200,000 to 400,000 dollars. So you buy a house and your instantly upside down on it. No thanks

mostly because the newer houses are way too big for the average family. we need more affordable homes 800 to a 1,000 square foot house

all comments are valid, it's a multi-sided issue, 1st the cost of houses have tripled, 2nd the cost of repairs/upkeep are astronomical, 3rd you have to keep home insurance for home loans which is also ridiculously expensive (if home insurance is still being offered in your area), 4th even if you pay off your mortgage you still have to pay expensive taxes and the cost of home repairs/upkeep

Plus, the houses are all the same and in remote areas. For working class it just too much commute. Housing in America is just way overpriced.

Too old, not updated (I don’t mean the kitchen), for way too much. How can I pay $3k-$6k a month and replace the sewer or septic if needed
