Sometimes I wonder if I’m just spinning my wheels. I’m 20, 6’4, and currently working as a server—making decent money, but not enough to save for a house. I’ve managed retail at PacSun and even wrangled chaos as a manager at Little Caesars. I’m good at spotting problems before they blow up, keeping schedules tight, and balancing everyone’s needs. Math? No sweat. But here’s the thing: I’m desperate for a job that pays around $80k, and I want to feel like I’m actually building a future. Is there something out there for someone like me, or am I just chasing a pipe dream? I’m open to labor, I’m open to learning—just not open to settling. What would you do if you were in my shoes?
