Lately, I’ve been on the job hunt, sending out applications left and right, and finally landing some interviews. I should be thrilled, right? But with the Delta variant cases climbing in California, I can’t help but worry that everything might shut down again just as I start working. What if I get hired, settle in, and then the world hits pause again? Will there be another round of unemployment extensions, or will I be left hanging? The uncertainty is honestly eating at me. Has anyone else been through this? How do you cope with planning your career when everything feels so up in the air?
