Does LinkedIn Make Anyone Else Feel Like an Impostor?

Every time I open LinkedIn, my heart races a little. I’m constantly checking for new job postings, hoping to find something that could finally launch my career change. But then I see those entry-level positions asking for five years of experience and a laundry list of specialized skills—seriously, who are they kidding? 😅 Having only worked in marketing, I feel stuck. Switching fields seems impossible when every job wants experience I just don’t have. It’s even worse when I see old classmates landing jobs at big-name companies or prestigious grad schools. I know I shouldn’t compare myself, but it’s hard not to feel like I’m falling behind. Is it just me, or does LinkedIn sometimes feel more toxic than helpful?
