Fresh Orange Cheesecake: Creamy, Tangy, and Zesty 🍊

Tried out a homemade orange cheesecake recipe this weekend, and the citrus twist really changes things up. The crust is just crushed graham crackers and a bit of melted butter, pressed into a springform pan and baked for about 10 minutes. For the filling, I used cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and the juice and zest of two oranges. Mixing in the zest gives the cheesecake a punch of orange flavor that stands out. After pouring the filling over the crust, it bakes low and slow to keep the texture smooth. One thing that helps: letting all the ingredients come to room temperature before mixing. It makes the batter much smoother and helps avoid lumps. Once baked and cooled, I topped it with thin orange slices and a little orange marmalade for extra shine.
