I’m in a real bind and could use some advice. My company laid me off a few months ago, and honestly, I was already planning to quit because my boss made every day feel like a marathon of stress. Now, out of the blue, they’re offering me my old job back—same pay, same hours. But here’s the kicker: I was getting ready to move to a new city anyway, and I’d already mapped out my exit. If I say no, can they really report me for declining work and cut off my unemployment? I thought I had this all figured out, but now I’m second-guessing everything.
