I see our CEO and VPs in endless meetings, prepping slides, and sometimes staying late, but then they’ll disappear for weeks on vacation after a big project wraps up. Is that all there is to it? Meetings, presentations, and then jetting off to the Bahamas? I’m genuinely not trying to be snarky here—I’m just confused. I’m a mid-level manager, and my days are packed with tasks, but when I look up the ladder, it’s hard to see what the actual work looks like. Do they just make decisions all day?
