finding a decent lounge with showers at cdg airport

I’ve got a 6.5-hour layover at Charles de Gaulle, and I’m already dreading it. I’ll be landing at Terminal 2E and then heading out from 2G, which, if you’ve ever been to CDG, you know isn’t exactly a quick stroll. I started looking into pay-for-access lounges because I’d love to grab a shower and maybe a bite to eat, but wow—trying to figure out which lounges actually let you in (and have showers that aren’t always booked) is like solving a puzzle with missing pieces. Some reviews say the showers are great, others say they’re tiny or always out of hot water. Plus, the prices seem all over the place. I don’t want to pay a fortune just to stand in line for a lukewarm shower. Has anyone actually managed to find a decent lounge with a reliable shower at CDG, especially between 2E and 2G?
