loungekey or priority pass: which one actually works better?
Last week, I was standing in front of a crowded airport lounge in Chicago, juggling my phone and trying to figure out if I should use my LoungeKey or Priority Pass. Both apps are installed, both claim to get me in, but honestly, I never know which one is actually going to work. In the US, I’ve had some lounges tell me they only take Priority Pass, while others look at me like I’m speaking another language when I show them LoungeKey. And when I was in Paris last year, I ended up sitting outside the lounge with a sad airport sandwich because neither app seemed to get me access.
Has anyone else had this problem? It feels like these programs promise the world, but when you actually need them, it’s a toss-up. I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth keeping both. The worst part is when you see other people waltzing in while you’re stuck arguing with the front desk. It’s embarrassing!
