Today, I finally decided to step back from almost all social media. After years of wrestling with the subtle ways these platforms affect my mind, I hit my breaking point. I deleted Snapchat, disabled Instagram, removed TikTok, and even said goodbye to Tinder, which was the biggest trigger for me. I kept just one alternative Twitter account to stay in touch with someone important, and I trimmed down my Reddit to focus on poetry, meditation, and German.
