Celery Storage Hacks, Make the most of it!

Chop the celery stalks from the base and remove the leaves. Fresh, rigid stalks work best for long-lasting crunch. Place the cut celery in a glass bowl or sealed container, leaving a little space at the top. Fill it with clean, filtered water until the celery is submerged. Seal the container with a lid or plastic wrap and pop it in the fridge. Change the water every day or two to keep things fresh. If you’re short on space, stand the celery bunch in a tall glass of water in the fridge. Just remember to avoid the coldest spots to prevent freezing. For longer storage, wrap celery tightly in aluminum foil (a slightly damp paper towel underneath helps). Store it in the crisper drawer—this method keeps it crisp for weeks! I always keep my celery in water, and it stays super crunchy. If you want to save the ends and leaves, freeze them for homemade stock.
