choosing between fairmont and westin in singapore

We’re planning a family trip to Singapore this July, and I’m stuck choosing between two hotels. In the past, we always stayed at the Fairmont or Swissotel—never had a bad experience, and their service always felt a notch above. But this time, I noticed the Westin is offering a much better rate. I’m tempted, but I keep wondering if the lower price means we’ll be giving up something important, like location, breakfast quality, or even the little touches that make a hotel feel special. I’m not sure if I should stick with what’s familiar or take a chance on the Westin just to save a few bucks. Has anyone else faced this dilemma? Did you regret switching, or was it a pleasant surprise?
