Aromatic Anise Tea: Sweet, Spicy, and Soothing

Making anise tea is honestly a treat for your senses and your stomach. Here’s how I do it: Boil your kettle. If you have dried anise leaves, use 1 teaspoon. If you’ve got fresh, go for 3 teaspoons, crushed up, and toss them into a cup. Pour in the boiling water and let it steep for a few minutes. That’s it for the infusion! It’s super fragrant and tastes a bit like licorice—really comforting, especially on a chilly day. If you want a stronger flavor, try the decoction method: Crush 1 tablespoon of anise seeds with a mortar and pestle. Add them to 2 cups of boiling water in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. You can even add milk if you like it creamy. Anise tea is soothing and great for digestion, but remember, it’s not a replacement for real medical care. #AniseTea #HerbalTea #TeaRecipe #Food #Cooking
