Pick your tea base. I always go for a good black tea that’s not already flavored. It’s just more flexible for adding fruit. Choose your fruit. Sweet, bold fruits like peaches, strawberries, or raspberries work best. Wash and chop them into small pieces. Brew your tea. Use one teabag or a teaspoon of loose leaves in a heatproof jar. Pour in boiling water and steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea, but leave the fruit in. Let the fruit infuse for about 10 minutes, covered. This is where the magic happens and the flavors blend. Strain out the fruit. Drink it hot, or chill it and serve over ice for a refreshing twist. Try different combos until you find your favorite.
