Is My Age the Real Reason I’m Invisible to Employers? 🤔

After two decades in healthcare marketing, I never thought I’d be job hunting at 59. I left my last job after 10 years, thinking my experience and solid references would open doors. But so far? Silence. Not even a single interview request, despite applying for roles I’m clearly qualified for. I can’t help but wonder—are my graduation dates and long work history making me look too old or too expensive? I’m actually fine with a pay cut, but maybe employers just see the years and assume otherwise. Should I trim my resume, hide the dates, or just keep pushing forward as is?
