Hasumi Sushi•Walnut Creek's Fresh Japanese Restaurant

It's been a while since I've been back to Walnut Creek. I came today to fix my car and thought, why not grab a bite to eat? I found this local sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurant. It seems to have opened recently and it has high ratings online. I tried a few things: *Entree and Bento Their entrees and bento boxes are the same price. The difference is that the entrees have more meat, and the bentos have more side dishes—a choice depending on personal preference! Pictures 1/2 respectively showcase the Salmon Entree ($22.95) and the Short Rib Entree ($22.95). The serving of meat is adequate, and it comes with a salad and rice! I was particularly impressed by the Short Rib Entree; the beef is well marinated and could rival a Korean restaurant! The third picture is a Salmon Bento ($22.95). It clearly has half the meat of the entree but comes with a generous portion of deep-fried items (shrimp, pumpkin, sweet potato, and cauliflower) and a crab sushi roll! I personally think, as a simple dinner, both are pretty good! *Sushi Rolls I ordered the Salmon Lover ($15.95) and Lion King ($16.95). I especially want to praise the Salmon Lover (picture 4), the salmon slices are thick and the quality of the meat is succulent and juicy, with a special sauce sprinkled at the base of the plate, making it soft and savory with a clear layered taste! In conclusion: Strict quality control, fresh meat and vegetables, moderate pricing, serene environment. As a small restaurant for everyday dining, it's pretty good. The only minor downside is that they don’t serve ramen, only udon! 📍Hasumi Sushi 3116 Oak Rd STE A, Walnut Creek, CA 94597 #HasumiSushi #WalnutCreek #JapaneseRestaurant #FreshCuisine #SushiLover #BentoBoxes #QualityControl #UdonOnly
