I don’t know how some of y’all do it… August hunting feels like punishment. Between the heat, skeeters, and snakes, I usually hold off ‘til September. My heat survival kit: portable fan, thermacell, and snake boots. But honestly? I'm not as crazy about hunting as I used to be when it comes to dealing with this humidity.
