If you take care of the meat in the field, process it correctly and cook it correctly, it is delicious. I like to shoot a hog to eat that is 100 lbs. or less.
I have cooked it as breakfast sausage (burritos), pork chops, ribs grilled and found it great to eat.

anytime you kill a wild bore it will have a stronger flavor due to the wild bore still has his testicles. male pigs need to be castrated for a certain amount of time before you slaughter them to avoid the strong flavor

Big boars taste like piss. Trophy hunting is stupid. Go for a sow or a young one. they taste great

What they are eating makes a big difference, we usually trap ours and feed them for about a month and donβt harvest a boar to eat, unless you know how to casterate them and feed them for about a month!

Eaters are the small ones. A dry sow is ok. An adult boar is a definite skip.πΌ

It depends. Adult boar leave for coyote bait. Young guilt good eating
