if they fall away normally without and undue force I doubt it hurts but if a lose antler gets caught on a branch or something and tanks the antler off there probably some pain but the open spot where the antler vase was heals over quickly

the antlers are dead, that's why the fall off, and all the nutrients that was going to the antlers is now going to there body to help them survive the winter...that's how I understand it anyway, so no, it don't hurt them

I am not a deer, so canβt say for sure. The antlers fall off basically on their own when it is ready to come off. It leaves a small circular hole, that heals very quickly. My guess is the deer hardly notice it. Happy Hunting!π¦π¨π±
