Disrespect? That’s funny! Head shot there is no suffering which leads to a relaxed deer down!

I’m too old to go look for a wounded deer. A heart shot deer can run 100 yards.head or neck shot and the dear drops where it’s standing. 👍🏼

Well i do European skull mounts so i don’t encourage a true head shot. My bullet placement is behind ear severing spine.. game over. Saves skull for beautiful mount plus saves lots of excellent meat. 😀👊just saying !

They don't run with head shots but your aim better be true.

head and neck shots the only way to get that animal on the ground dead as a doornail quickly and you preserve more of the meat which is what you should be after not trophies that animal is giving its life to you that is the absolute best thing that you can do for it

It all boils down to patience, I was taught very well when I was young. How to use a Rifle. I was given seven 22 shells for a single shot 22. If I went squirrel honey I had better bring home at least six squirrels, The shame with rabbit hunting, are I got in trouble. I hunt for food.

on turkey and waterfowl, it is the way to go. No having to use a hand held metal detector to pick bird shot out of a carcass so you don't break a tooth. 👍
