Interviewer Said Friday Update - Radio Silence Thursday 😰

Hey everyone, I'm honestly spiraling right now and could really use some perspective 😔 I had what I thought was an amazing interview last Tuesday. The hiring manager seemed super engaged, we clicked immediately, and she specifically said "I'll have an update for you by end of week - Thursday or Friday at the latest." The position was supposed to start next Monday! Well, Thursday came and went... complete silence 📱 I keep checking my phone every five minutes like some kind of maniac. My friends keep telling me not to read into it, but come on - if they wanted me, wouldn't they have called already? I was SO hopeful about this one. Perfect company culture, amazing team, salary bump I desperately need. Now I'm back to scrolling job boards and crying into my coffee ☕ Am I overthinking this?
