Started My Career During 2008 Recession - How Did You Survive? 😰

Hey everyone, I'm sitting here watching the economy tank again and having major flashbacks to when I started my career right after college in 2008. 😅 Back then, I was fresh out of school, couldn't find a decent job for months, and when I finally landed something, the pay was terrible and the hours were brutal. But I kept grinding, taking on extra projects, working weekends, basically throwing everything I had at building my career despite the awful market. Now with all this economic uncertainty again, I'm wondering - did anyone else start their career during that nightmare period? How did you steel your nerves and keep pushing forward when everything felt hopeless? The math says persistence pays off long-term, but man, it's hard to stay motivated when the world feels like it's falling apart.
