Depends on wear you live and the lake you fish or pond. I only caught bass on them. Lakes suck for trout fishing in the state wear I live. You can catch them but they ain't plentiful. I catch more cawdeds, sunfish and catfish then any other fish species. My trout trips are I am empty handed on most trips however when I catch one I am probably going to catch 3 or 4. Also for trout the best tine to fish for them is when the sun fist comes up. I really haven't caught any at dusk just mainly dawn till about 10 am. Then it slows down. By 1 its done for. You have to alternate bates. See whats biting.

Why is someone writing articles about fishing who doesn't know how too ? You should stick to bowling . I've caught Kokanee ; steelhead ; small mouth , large mouth bass ; brook cutthroat, brown , rainbow , golden trout ; bluegill ; and crappie. All on rooster tails .

Any color is good as long as it’s chartreuse.

My buddy and I, just returned from a fishing trip. We were using identical gear, down to the rods and reels. Line, weights, colors, length of line out……identical! He limited out, at 10, and I think that, maybe, I might have, possibly, gotten a strike! Who can explain fish?🤪

I use them and tue off brands. on the off brands I test them in the water to make sure that the spoon spins . if not I take a pair of needle nose plies and just the tip of them i make some bends in the spoon . start at the end and bend it in warded about less then 45 degrees and then the width of the nose go to the next to the bend and bend the opposite way . keep doing that till the end of the spoon to the main body of the lure . then take the plies and put the spoon in length wise and flatten the spoon so it have a wave in it for the finished. what it dose is give the lure more spin and flashing so it will attract the fish . Also like stayed use different colors. I use them on crappie and bluegills and catfish and trout . it all depends on the color. the one on the color make it looks like a minnow. Hope this can help .
