Stressed About Retirement Planning With Only a 401(k)? Help Needed! 😩

I'm a few years away from retirement and honestly, I'm feeling overwhelmed. Most of my savings are tied up in my company's 401(k) and a deferred compensation plan that will pay out over several years. I don't have much in investable assets outside of that, which seems to confuse every financial planner I talk to. They all want to manage assets now and take a percentage, but that doesn't fit my situation. One planner offered a fee-based plan, but I have no idea what I should expect from that or what a reasonable fee even looks like. Has anyone else faced this?
