Does anyone else feel older gear works better?

I’ve been using my Remington 870 for 30 years—slug barrel, a few chokes, and it still gets the job done. Taken plenty of deer and hogs with it over the years, and it’s never let me down. If you're in the market, aim for one made over a decade ago—the quality is unmatched. Police trade-ins are also a great budget route—cheap, reliable, easy to maintain, and parts are everywhere.
