I walked Edinburgh’s streets with my neck craned back, half in awe, half just trying to process how old everything looked. The buildings felt heavy—like they’d seen too much. I wanted to be swept up in it, to feel changed by the stones and spires, but mostly I just felt small. I kept taking photos I’d never post, trying to capture a feeling that wouldn’t land. Everyone says travel is supposed to open you up. Sometimes it just reminds you how much of an outsider you are, no matter how beautiful the view. I loved the city. I just couldn’t find my place in it. #Travel #TravelConfessions #OutOfPlace
