Lately, I've been really worried about my partner. She comes home from work every day exhausted and upset, venting about her stressful job. She puts in extra hours without any overtime pay, and it's clear the pressure is getting to her. Even though I make enough to support both of us, she refuses to quit or even cut back to part-time because she's afraid her friends and family will think she's lazy. This situation is causing a lot of tension between us. I already have more free time than she does, and she’s starting to resent it. I'm concerned that when I retire soon, the gap in our lifestyles will only get worse. I want to help her, but I don't know how to convince her that her happiness matters more than what others think.
