Last week I had my crosshairs on what I thought was a young buck until it turned its head - no antlers! Close call.
What's your foolproof method for identifying bucks vs does?

Binoculars are a must for a hunter. You will use them way more than you use your rifle. Being able to identify what you are preparing to shoot is extremely important. There are some excellent brands out there. Good luck and good hunting!

Try using a slingshot
then you can have all the fun of hunting
without the long explanation to the man with a ticket book

If it has nuts it's a buck, I even doe will get antlers so that's not a sure way. But frankly does it matter? Does taste better anyway because they don't have high testosterone like bucks during the ruts.

Let me splaine something to you Lucy,
The boys have antlers
And the does do not. Most of the time!
There have been does shot that had antlers but it doesn’t happen often
