Do we really need to hike miles for elk?

You don't have to hike miles for elk. I don't. No reason to bother the elk. They don't come looking for me and I don't go looking for them. it's a mutual thing.

depends on what you are looking for and where your hunting unit is in the states that have hunting units in Pennsylvania Elk are easily found and seen they bring a lot of tourists to benezette Elk county go up the first to second week in September and you most likely will hear the bull Elk bugle and if you are lucky you will see an Elk battle get there in the early morning just be careful driving extremely thick fog is often a problem

Hunters see things in the natural world that they can't describe to others and have them appreciate the feeling! It's all about nature and being involved with it,so hard to put in words.

Depends on the area you are hunting. Anyone that says no is not a real hunter.
