Ricketts Glen is the kind of place people post about when they want to look like they’ve figured something out. Waterfalls, moss, the whole forest-therapy package. I went because I thought a long walk would clear my head. Instead, every step up those slippery rocks just made the noise in my brain louder. I kept waiting for the view to fix me. It didn’t. The air was damp, my shoes were soaked, and I kept thinking about texts I hadn’t answered. I took a photo at the top, then deleted it. The trees didn’t care if I made it to the end. Maybe that’s the point. #Travel #TravelWithoutFilters #HikingTruths
