Lately, I can't shake off this anxiety about my future at work. I'm a 38-year-old project manager in Chicago, and everywhere I look, AI is creeping into our daily tasks. My company just started using new software that automates reports I used to spend hours on. Honestly, I worry that in 10-15 years, everything I do could be automated. I keep thinking, should I rush to achieve financial independence and retire early (FIRE), or is that just wishful thinking?
