Hey everyone, I'm at my breaking point with my current job situation and desperately need your thoughts on my escape plan! 😩 I'm 32, making $65K while dealing with a micromanaging boss who's making my life miserable. My wife earns $75K and faces similar workplace toxicity. We're both burned out and planning our great escape - retiring at 49! 🏃♂️ We currently have $150K saved and calculated we need $1.43 million by retirement. With our monthly expenses at $6,200 (projected $8,200 in retirement), we need to invest $1,550 monthly to hit our target. Has anyone else used early retirement planning as motivation to survive toxic work environments? I'm using this goal to stay focused during rough days, but some days I wonder if I should just quit now! 😰 What would you do in my situation? Any advice on staying motivated for the long haul? 💭 #JobCareer #Career #EarlyRetirement
