Deer see better at night than during the day. They have excellent night vision due to a higher concentration of rod cells in their retinas, which are more sensitive to low light, and a reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum that enhances light collection. While they can still see during the day, their daytime vision is less sharp and their color perception is limited compared to humans.

So we can conclude that a deer will see you best at dawn and dusk when there is less daylight.
