Just curious—how many of y’all are hunting full-time to feed the family, or just for the love of it on weekends? Would love to hear your stories and what drives you.

I hunt for the enjoyment of the solitude. I enjoy the game I harvest and the trophy mounts bring back the memories. I truly believe that hunters are conservationists. We provide the bulk of the monies to fund state and federal management programs. So, yes, I hunt because I enjoy the whole experience.

I hunt to be in the woods with nature, to enjoy the sounds and smells. If I’m lucky enough to get a deer or whatever ever is in season that is icing on the cake, And yes I do eat every I harvest

My grandparents introduced me to hunting when I was 3 years old. Actually started hunting when I was 7. I am 76 now so I have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours in the field in preparation for a season and in actual hunting.
Still love sitting in a blind in the dark waiting for legal light to see what the day brings. Love an afternoon hunt waiting for that prime time when the deer start moving. I don’t have to kill a deer to have fun. My daughter, granddaughter and grandson all hunt and have become good outdoorsmen! Hunting is part of our life and the memories I have are priceless. Happy Hunting my friends!🦌🇨🇱

I'm a small game hunter. pheasant, rabbit and squirrels are a staple on our dinner table. Only kill what you eat.

If you want fun, find a different sport. Killing an animal is a serious almost religious act. Never take the life of an animal for fun
