Why does everyone keep trying to talk me out of carpentry? Is this really a bad decision? 😮‍💨

I've been feeling this pull lately towards joining the trades, specifically carpentry. But it seems like every time I bring it up in my personal life, folks try to talk me out of it. I get it, I really do. I know it's tough on the body, there's a good chance I'll get yelled at sometimes, might have to deal with some rough individuals, and the hours can be insane. But honestly, I just have this burning desire to become a carpenter. The skills you'd pick up feel absolutely priceless. Imagine being able to build a treehouse for your kids, a shed, maybe even a cabin or your own home someday, or even just a doghouse for your furry friend! ❤️❤️❤️ So, I'm genuinely curious: Would you advise for or against getting into carpentry?
