I Forgot What Sweet Tastes Like

I followed every rule. No sweet drinks, not even diet ones. Berries instead of real fruit. Dark chocolate as my reward. The day I bit into a raspberry and it tasted like nothing, I knew something was wrong. I'd "recalibrated" myself so far from sweet that I couldn't taste summer anymore. Strawberries were tart. Chocolate was bitter medicine. I was proud of this—my palate was "fixed." But sitting there with a handful of berries that might as well have been cardboard, I realized I wasn't healing my relationship with sugar. I was erasing it entirely. Now I'm trying to remember what it felt like to enjoy things without measuring, without testing my calibration, without turning every bite into proof of my self-control. Some days the berries taste sweet again. Those are the good days. #Health #Diet #FoodGuilt
