Last season, I kept switching stands every other sit, hoping to catch bucks moving — but saw way less action than expected. Talked to a few older guys at camp who said I might be hurting my odds. They were right. Deer move differently every day, especially during the rut, and hopping from stand to stand just spreads pressure around. Now I focus on picking one solid location, with the right wind and access, and sticking it out for a few days. My success rate’s been way better since. Anyone else find consistency beats constant movement? #hunting #deerhunting #standplacement #Outdoors
