Do you bring your kids hunting?

That the main reason I keep a place to hunt to keep the kids a place to hunt!

I took my kids out starting when they were around 3 years old..of course didn't get anything at that age, but they learned tracking, got to see animals in the wild, and breath clean fresh air, toast marshmallows, and camp out under the stars. Eventually they learned to be quiet..er, but the most important takeaways were appreciation of the natural wonder God created, and that hunting isn't all about the kill, it is about being one with nature and enjoying that whenever we can..

herb parsons was a trick shooter for Winchester firearms when I was a kid(79 today). his message at the end of each performance was: take your kids hunting today and you'll never have to go hunting for them tommorow. I've been an instructor my whole life- that that was my unsaid message with each kid I taught along with safety and attitude. with me it has been some of the most rewarding time I've spent with my kids and others I've mentored

Yes take them and my daughter hunting fishing they know to respect nature and animals and they don’t throw trash down and leave it what they bring in the wood they take out respect weapons and the safety of the people around them very proud of my kids they love the outdoors and respect life and have the best manners to people and treat everyone the same all by just going hunting and fishing you can have a lot of conversations while you’re in the great outdoors

My Dad was not a hunter. I am so fortunate that my grandparents were. They started taking me to the deer lease in Rocksprings, Tx when I was 3 years old. Would sit in blinds with them and started hunting when I was 7. My daughter started late at about 17 (her choice). My granddaughter started going at 4 and took her first deer at 9. My grandson started going with me at 2.5 yo and killed his first buck at age 7. The buck in the photo was taken with a crossbow at age 9 and he killed a beautiful buck last year at age 11 with his compound bow. Don’t force them but by all means take them. Great memories are made and future hunters are created that love the outdoors and respect the game. Happy Hunting! 🦌🇨🇱

Absolutely my three boys have gone out and learned how to hunt and now my 10 year old daughter is!

I get more joy out of putting my grandkids on a big buck than I do myself I had much rather see them get a nice deer than me

Yes, I brought my suns up, hunting and fishing, and we are bringing my grandkids up the same way.
