In teen years I made more money per week that others around me. I worked construction as a helper and training to learn the concrete masonry trade. 2 summers worth and worth every penny. The guy I worked for drank on the job and didn’t care. The work was always done meticulously and on time. He paid generously and he would take on 2 different contracts at times so we’d have overtime. We were a 4 man crew and I must’ve helped with thousands of different houses and businesses we refaced or poured for over those 2 years. My friends reaped the benefits of the share. I’d take them to the mall on Saturday and buy pizzas from the Italian Pavilion in our mall. Best pizzas ever. Go to the arcade and spend on some small gifts. I loved my friends and always included my Brother / Sister. It felt good sharing and seeing their joy at having. I wasn’t the oldest teen in the group, but the highest paid in my grid! Hard earned too!👍🏼💕
