Everyone saying that it will be eaten up by Medicare has not done their research or has a very bad insurance agent. When done correctly Medicare should cost you 10-11 dollars for part A and 0 for your prescription plan. My wife starts Medicare tomorrow so yeah, we know from experience. She paid the 555.00 up front which we found out she didn’t have to do and now we won’t have another payment for over 4 years.

the raise that we get each year isn't enough to help us with anything. When we get the raise our medicare goes up. Last year medicare went from 176.00 a month to 187.00 a month. This years raise will put medicare at 206.00 a month, so if your SS check goes to 1200.00 a month you get less that a 1000.00 a month. So we are the one's that get pooped on every year.
