Why Smart People Get Annoyed So Easily

the reason why smart people get annoyed easily is because we are smart enough to see the fucking problems in life and everyone else is focusing on the symptoms.

It gets exhausting dealing with stupidity.

It's true. The bad thing about having above-average intelligence is that you're often surrounded by people who are less intelligent than you are. Basically, you feel like you're constantly dealing with idiots. What makes it worse is that, since the average person has average intelligence, the average (typical) viewpoint is different from yours. So, even though you're right, the majority of people will agree with each other that you're wrong.

hey someone i would consider intelligent here. small talk is fine. bad argument and blind obedience piss me off. wasted time too. but small talk is fine dawg

I can't stand liberals and their stupid arguments!

lets not forget that stupid people dont know they are stupid and will comment like they are one of the brilliant ones who understand how annoyed smart people get.

I have learned, through age and experience, not to judge anyone based on their intelligence. There are simply people with whom I cannot gleam much from in the course of interaction and or conversation. Inversely, there are people who I absolutely relish being around mainly because of what they teach me about being human, subjects I have never been exposed to or simply thoughts or the ability to perform certain tasks WITHOUT condescension. Nobody like to feel undervalued and any insult to intelligence is extremely damaging.
