Grandma's beautiful Tiffany pearls I'm nervous to wear. Anyone know how old they are?

Have them evaluated at a Tiffany store or by a reputable jeweler with expertise in pearls.

my mother-in-law gave me her wedding pearls 41 years ago....they sat in my drawer for years....I put them on last year and have never taken them off....they are the second best thing i ever got from her.

Insure the pearls ,have them restrung and WEAR them everywhere . please do not leave them in the box. 💕

They already look like they have maybe been re-strung and or repaired at some point...i have an antique Tiffany pearl bracelet, and the clasp is like two silver pieces that lock in together, not a standard ring clamp...the clasp on mine is also stamped with the old Tiffany and company logo. Check for the hallmarks as well, as the company changed them many times over years, and that can also help with the time period the necklace was made--they will usually be on the clasp itself or a little silver link/tiny plaque just before the closure of the piece. pearls need to be worn. but..if these are really Tiffany natural pearls I would have them appraised and restring. if they are valued at $3000 up put in safe place and but some cultured pears to wear.
