Definitely the ford 300 was the toughest I had ever seen !! But you can’t leave out the Chevy v8 350 was one of the greatest motors of all time!!

an honorable mention to the Toyota I Force 5.7 can go a half a million miles as well as the Chevy straight 6, 250.
also the dodge slant 6 was also bullet proof.
but Yes, the Ford straight 6, 300 was the best "dependable"
engine that Ford ever built.
it had more torque than the 351.
The Toyota 22r could last forever when properly maintained. IMHO.

22 r lol blow up way to easy what you talking about I blow up to of them drove one for 8 miles in the mt's before it just stopped and I looked under the hood and the was a hole in the block the size of my 👊 so they or not bulletproof
